Idyllwild - 2013 Bay gelding by Grafenstolz out of Izabella (Tycoon).

Idyllwild (barn name Idol) is a 2013 dark bay Trakehner colt by Grafenstolz (Trakehner eventing champion) out of Izabella (ATA ORB mare by Tycoon/Onassis). Paternal grandsire was the FEI GP dressage horse of Laura Bechtolsheimer (Polarion). His sire, Grafenstolz is trained in advanced dressage, competed at the Prix St George level. Grafenstolz competed and won a Puissance while in France, clearing somewhere near 6 1/2 feet, so this gelding should be able to do hunter, jumping or dressage. Paternal grandsire, Onassis, is also the damsire of Seacookie TSF, an upper level eventer, ridden by William Fox Pitt.
